Working Mission Statement Our mission is to bring together various communities to celebrate Los Angeles’ and kebabs diversity. The traditional kebab originated in Persia and like many other ethnic foods, the kebab is part of everyday cuisine in many countries around the world. The traditional meat is lamb, but has changed to reflect local tastes, it may now be beef, goat, chicken, pork, snake, fish, seafood, vegetarian, tofu, and just about any other meat one eats. In bringing together various communities ( and culture) to celebrate food we look to help create further bonds and understanding of LA’s diversity through food. There are over 363 restaurants in Los Angeles that serve kebab and more than 27,225 people eat kebab everyday in Los Angeles alone.
